Zaf is a 1991 Physical Therapy graduate from the University of Vermont and also holds a Master’s degree from Norwich University in Athletic Training. He was the head Athletic Trainer (over 30 years) and PT (over 20 years) at Saint Michael’s College, as well as a varsity coach and the Senior Associate Athletic Director. His accomplished career at SMC concluded with the creation of a Scholarship and the Athletic Training room dedicated in his name. He currently holds Vermont licenses in athletic training and physical therapy and recently joined the EDGE Physical Therapy’s Essex location to pursue his passion for helping people.
At Saint Michael’s he was actively involved in the prevention, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of all types of orthopedic and sport-related injuries for the students, faculty, and staff. He specializes in sports medicine with interests in manual therapy, sport-specific athletic training, and knee and ankle injuries.
He and his wife live in Colchester, Vermont where they both run, ski and bike.
